2022 Chevrolet Trailblazer

The entry-level Trailblazer is the LS. It comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, body-colored door handles, and black and dark gray for the front fascia and lower body trim. It also comes with power-adjustable side mirrors with black caps and automatic headlights. The LT adds roof rails, LED fog lights, and heated side mirrors, while the sporty Activ has a tow hitch receiver, skid plates, an optional two-tone roof, and LED taillights. It also comes with 17-inch sport terrain tires and a dual-outlet exhaust.
The RS is similar to the Activ but has 18-inch wheels. An optional Sun and Liftgate Package adds a panoramic sunroof and a hands-free liftgate to any of the Trailblazer models, and you can also get LED headlights by adding the Technology Package to the Active or RS.

Power for the Trailblazer starts with a 1.2-liter three-cylinder gas engine that puts out 137 horsepower. It uses a continuously variable automatic transmission and has front-wheel drive. An optional 1.3-liter turbo engine delivers 155 horsepower and uses a nine-speed automatic transmission. Choosing the turbo engine gets you the option for all-wheel drive.

The compact Trailblazer is ideal for urban driving, but it's also peppy and fun when you take it on the open highway. When equipped with all-wheel drive, the Trailblazer offers three different driving modes with Normal, Sport, and Snow to choose from. These modes adjust the amount of power that goes to each wheel, the throttle, and shift points to help make the most of road conditions.

Cabin space in the Trailblazer is impressive for a subcompact SUV. Rear seat passengers enjoy a comfortable amount of legroom, and the cargo area can open up to over 54 cubic feet with the rear seats down. A power-adjustable driver's seat comes in the LT along with heated front seats, and if you have the RS, it comes with sporty red interior accents.
The technology features in the Trailblazer start with a 7-inch touch screen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a six-speaker stereo, and a Wi-Fi hot spot. The optional Convenience Package for the LT and above adds an 8-inch touch screen, rear USB ports, and a power outlet, and the Technology Package for the Active and RS adds the larger touch screen, wireless charging, and a Bose stereo system.

Every 2022 Trailblazer comes with a rearview camera, forward collision warning, lane-keep assist, automatic high beam headlights, and automatic emergency braking. Add the Driver Confidence Package to the LT and above for a blind-spot monitor, rear parking sensors, and rear cross-path detection, and if you add the Technology Package to the Active or RS is comes with adaptive cruise control.
