Enhanced 6.6L Gas V8
For the first time, Silverado HD gets first-in-class* electric power steering, an electrically assisted rack-and-pinion system built for a more precise, modern feel with reduced maintenance needs. It is tuned for responsive steering, runs quietly with no hydraulic noise, and helps reduce steering kickback off-road.
First-in-class* eBoost braking uses advanced technology to deliver responsive and smooth heavy-duty stopping power, helping to give you added confidence when braking under load, especially on long downhill grades or when making repeated stops while towing. Drivers can expect more predictable brake feel, smoother and faster brake response, and improved braking power, cooling and consistency.
The 2027 Silverado HD has been engineered to help make towing easier and put drivers in command, even with imposing loads.
